Congratulations to Doug Sherwood, TECH (CBRE Technical Services), who took home the title of 2026 BICSI Installer of the Year and a check for U.S.$5,000.

If you missed this year's challenge, there is always our 19th Annual Challenge to consider in 2027! It will be held Monday and Tuesday during BICSI Winter 2027, 14-18 February 2027, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, USA.

By competing for the bragging rights and title of BICSI Installer of the Year, you showcase your confidence in awesome installation skills! Boost your resume with a ranking in one of the many sub-challenges or win the overall competition and walk away with U.S.$5,000.

Companies can sponsor the Challenge to increase brand awareness while supporting information and communications technology (ICT) industry excellence. Options are available to sponsor either the competitor-only Cabling Skills Challenge or donate the products competitors will use during the challenge. Competitors will use your products in the event, so multiple sponsorship opportunities are available. Winter Conference exhibitors can also host special “Speed Challenges” in the Cabling Skills arena, open to all Winter Conference attendees.
